You would think that OKC would have solid functionality and controls by now being around for as long as they have, but glitches still exist. From the survey questions screen coming up whenever you try to type an intro to swiping through someone’s profile pictures and somehow swiping to close their pictures, it’s still a rocky experience.

My population of possible matches don’t always fall inside the parameters that I said. Most of the people who like me are from the Philippines and African countries. And on top of that, I feel a lot of people are bots on here. When I pay to be able to match and message and see my likes, I don’t get much of anything. when I let my subscription lapse and I’m not paying anymore is when I get a bunch of likes and again most of them global not even local. This app is not worth your money if you’re serious about trying to find somebody!

First off, I deleted my account. It said it would erase everything and that I would no longer get any likes, but my email has new okcupid likes every day. I want this fixed. And since I’m here, I might as well explain why I left. It gives you a preferences option but no matter what you put in them, it will continue to show you people you obviously wouldn’t be compatible with. It just throws random people out regardless of what your searching for.

Use Bumble or Hinge. This app is just a cash grab. Bad recommendations, constant “matches” from other countries. Just all around bad.

Arrogant useless customer support and low quality and fake profiles. What more could you like?

First, let me say that the UI of this app is pretty impressive. The UX though? Frustrating, at best. I don’t know if it’s just my experience, but I receive numerous Likes per day from international users. I don’t want a long distance relationship, let alone one in which we’re from entirely separate continents. This literally only happens in this app and never in any of its competitors. What gives, OKCupid? Why am I being bombarded with international Likes? What’s more, our match percentages aren’t even good; in fact, they tend to be abysmal. Why even bother showing them?

Don’t get scammed , appl would basically show u 100s of matches but have to pay to access them but they are from out of country lol…. Don’t pay for the app, they are scammers to lure u into paying for services .

I feel like many of them are potential scams.

OkCupid is the best app out here to meet new people.
